Replacement Stairs

You did not indicate what “these” are. Need to attach a link or photo to see what you are talking about.

Are you talking about the one step that swings down? It’s the only( stair) that A frames have.

My 2019 HW A-frame has 14in tires and a folding 2 step arrangement. The 2 steps are much nicer, but more of a pain to fold up and store. The mini-dachshund agrees on the 2 step being much nicer.

I HATE the double step on the highwalls! They are always stuck either trying to unfold or fold and I fight with them to the point I want to yank them off and toss them.

I've taken them off and have just been leaving the ice chest as a step, but would be nice eventually replacing if I could find a suitable replacement.

We have an HW with the 2 steps and they do need adjusting occasionally.

With all the concern about trying to make stuff lightweight it seems there should be an aluminium or other alternative.

I've never really looked around, figuring I'd destroy the OEM ones eventually and worry about it then.

Found an option

Found this unit on Amazon. Our pop up had a single step that was too tall for my wife. This works great and rides just inside the door when traveling. 7 inch rise per step. Rated at over 300 lbs.

May not be a good idea to brag about the weight capacity to the wife.

Weight issue

I'm not the one who tells the nurse at the doctors office that their scale is bad.... But to be fair, I do outweigh her by a couple of all-you-can-eat buffets.

SOLD X2. I've been wanting to find something better than the flimsy fold up step to my Jacuzzi and this looks perfect, thanks! Also getting one for my highwall.

Thanks Frogfarmer. Camper is 25 lbs lighter after dumping the OEM steps. Plus the wife will be able to deploy them now.

And these things are strong. Moved the camper to storage today and couldn't figure out why I wasn't level side to side in my carport. Some idiot left the stairs under the frame and the left side of the camper was sitting on top of the new stairs after raising the toung. Not a scratch. I'd say it's a bunch stronger than 300 lbs.
