Road Trip

We have taken three day trips and love our A Frame! We are in the process of planning a 30+ day trip this summer and I would love feedback on preparing for it. My one big problem is fresh food and dealing with the tiny fridge. We have a HW so it also has a small freezer too.
What do all of you do that are on the road for weeks at a time? I'd love to hear your best hacks and ideas!
Thanks!

We have a engel ( MT27F-U1 ) Fridge, Freezer that we use for a freezer. If you put it to max cold it will blow up coke can. The link to the Engel is just the first one that I found. They cost an arm and leg but you will not find a better brand or lower current draw. I have our in the 4 runner with a battery and a 100 watt solar cell mounted in the roof rack and it will run 24/7, with out running the truck.
That said we use a lot of can goods and dry pack foods. If it is a road trip you only need a week worth of food, there is always some place to buy food. Also if you do a cooler, ice is easy to get. We do bottle water for drinking and we will just fill the tanks with any water we come across. Depending where you camp and they do not have shower you can normally stop at a up scale CG e and buy a shower for $5. A truck stop will be higher.
We have done 45 days in our A frame and had a great trip.

We did 66 days in our tent trailer prior to Aframe ownership. Family of 5, coast to coast and back again. Fridge was smaller than our current Aframe fridge. We rarely ate out and when we did, it was lunch 'cuz lunch is cheaper than dinner. Grocery shopped about once a week. You just have to be of a mind set that you don't need everything in the fridge all the time, i.e. only 5 cans of soda in the fridge at a time. When you pull one out, you replace it. Apples don't need to be refrigerated. Smaller mayo/mustard containers, etc. When we shopped, fresh meat was planned for dinner that night so it never really had to go in the fridge so there was room in the fridge for fresh meat for other nights. We did canned chicken some nights, meatless other nights. Canned chili with cornbread and honey was a favorite. We did keep a small cooler to put our lunch supplies in if it was a driving day, so we wouldn't have to pop the trailer to stop for lunch. Fantastic trip!

We did a six week cross country trip and back with our previous pop up ! We used the refrigerator for condiments, fruits and vegtables. Other foodstuffs, meat and such were kept in a 45 quart cooler and a smaller 20 quart cooler carried fresh clean ice. The coolers rode in the front storage trunk to make them easy to retrieve. We made a grocery run every 4 or 5 days !
