My 2017 model has a Suburban. They should have given you a separate manual

My 2017 has a Dometic 6 Gallon DSI water Heater. Wish it was a Surburan, no anode. Works great, water hotter than all blazes, factory preset, can't change temp.

I'm confused??

Suburban water heaters HAVE an anode.

Dometic (was Atwood until 2017) do not.

Atwood is now Dometic

No, you are the correct one. Atwood's are now Dometic.

Suburban anode rod

First time on the Forum and reading a lot of helpful stuff. I have a 2018 Rockwood a213hw and am trying to replace the anode rod on my water heater. Just drained it (found out I don't have to do it so soon, rookie mistake...) I've added 1-2 wraps of Teflon tape to the anode rod threads and after tightening with a socket, a couple of threads still show. I'm afraid to crank on it any more. Is this normal?
