We'll see how long they last when we try them this winter in FL. If they last at least a year, they're not that expensive to replace and I hate messing with the regular ones. I will take the regular with us to FL just in case.

I'm with OC. Seems the most onerous PITA tasks I have in packing-up is that %^$@#! hose!
Setup isn't that much fun either!

If you just lay the hose out straight then coil it up it minds its manners. (unless its really cold outside) You can also find someone to play tug O' war with you grab both ends of hose (not by the fittings) and pull really hard it will help to relax hose.

We just used ours for the first time and my wife complained about water pressure in the shower. I switched out to our normal hose, but she was mostly done and couldn't tell me if it was better or worse. (She was NOT pleased that I didn't warn her first.. she said the water went cold and then to a trickle.  )

Unfortunately that hose has been discontinued by Valterra.

Were you using the Valterra W01-7300 or the 5/8" American Specialty Handi-Hose?

American Specialty H10 (I think that's the model #) utility hose.
I plan on switching back to it tomorrow/soon. I think this campground just has crappy water pressure (or there is something up with my pressure regulator).

Do you have an adjustable pressure regulator?

Yeah, I bought a Watts one from rvwaterfilterstore.com.
It is showing my pressure as super high- like 80-90psi. I know it isn't that high and when I dialed it back, I cut off water before hitting 60psi.

I have lately run into choke adapters on the end of the hose bib. They don't regulate static pressure but when you open the valve, the water flow is very slow. Then the working pressure drop across my regulator is just abysmal. At that point, I just fill the tank and use the pump.
