Roof Strip

Quick question. The weather strip that runs the width of my aframe and seals the two roof pieces together when the roof is folded down is drying out. What does anyone use for a preservative for that strip to keep it from drying out. Thank you.

Armourall has always been my choice for rubber and rubber-like products outside. The 303 product appears to be similar.

My ideal RV charging solution would be small generator with a built in quality battery charger. It would sense the state of the RV battery and auto start and stop as needed to keep it in a working range. Because it would be a charger only, it would not even need an expensive inverter to supply AC. It would take standby and starting power from the RV battery. Just hook it up, turn it on and let it manage the battery.
