ko777 -- did your camper come with the inline fuse? Mine sure didn't and I wish it did. That would be a painless solution.

Tom -- I was also going to ask if you're getting the A122 BH or TH. Whatever it is, I hope you get it soon.

Interesting, what is it now? I got this form from them and just mailed it back last week with a cheque:

Yes as seen in the pic. Too bad you can't use my kiss procedure. If you do any mods to your unit, better call FR and inquire if it voids your warranty. Did you get a 2014 A128S?

Yes -- I just picked up the A128S last week. I got the screen room too

Curious why you have an inline fuse and I don't. Strange thing to change for 2014.

FYI -- I received the same protection plan form you did.

Excellent...we could compare notes. Also use the kiss on setting up the screen room. I have a routine having this up so my bed stays as is in my trips.

Maybe the fuse container is too expose? I might try to cover this part with something and wrap all the expose wires with electrical tape to give it extra protection from the environment.

And we have the same protection...lol

BTW you have seen mine and I want to see yours please post pics. I'm curious what they changed in 2014 besides the external fuse box.

Anyone have a contact at FR to inquire about the warranty? Name/Number?

I post #290 A128S Converted from ALINER Ranger
Sam allowed me to get it even after 10 days as indicated in the form. I'll look for the phone number and will post later.

Did your dealer mention this option to you?

I paid, I want to say $150, for an additional year of the base warranty that WAS a FR form. In fact I made out the check direct to FR. But I don't remember anything about a lifetime on anything.

I've been trying to find the paperwork without any luck to see if what I did matches this, but it will probably be easier to just see what they have in their records.

I called this number and they gave me FR #574-389-4600, connect to warranty dept and you should get Sam the warranty guy for our model.

Good luck!

Are you actually talking an "inverter" or the "converter"?

You can mount a battery disconnect outside near the battery.
Use the same gauge wire that the battery cables are.

That's a stupid design to put the battery disconnect inside ?!?!
Why not just pull the main fuse which is located right next to the battery when you want no power on the camper? A lot easier than rewiring. Less opportunity for future issues.
