Show us your interior decor

Hello fellow campers,

My Rockwood A213HW is on order. I have seen some wonderful mods on this forum. I am interested in seeing your interior decorating. Things that have beautified your Aframe camper.

Thank you

Congratulations!
I posted this on another thread, but.... We have a new Flagstaff t12bh. I am still in the process of figuring out how to personalize it so it feels less factory. This is my start. I am going to make new fabric covers for the hinges at each end that are velcroed (sort of) on. I will do a similar painted mountain scene for each side, at least that is my plan and it will keep me busy this winter. I have hand-painted mountain potholders I am hanging from command hooks. I also made pillowcases, guitar fabric for my DH (he's a musician) and some vintage gingham for mine. Taking it all slowly and learning as we live in it. We are really outside campers, but I do want to make it more ours.

There are a lot of interesting and creative ideas on the forum for how to use decals, command strips with Velcro and command hooks. The main thing is to have fun! We are loving our new a-frame!

mollypcb,

That is awesome. That is the very corner that I want to spruce up. Thank you for sharing.

handbuilder,

Love the phrase on the wall. Do you ever have a problem with the letters wanting to peel off in the heat?

Brimare, I've had no problem with any of the quotes on the walls.

Did you make your own custom curtains and tie backs? Those are very nice!

Thought this was an interesting way to store keys.

Brimare, somewhere way back in a long forgotten past thread I've posted curtain photos describing what I did. I used sheer curtains, cut to fit windows. They provide another level of privacy while allowing the light in. I embellished the existing curtains with lace trim and tassel pull backs. Here are a few pics.

Our's is a vinyl wrap. My sister owns her own company she designed it and installed it. It took about 4 hours to install.

Love these wall and ceiling designs. Are they tape?.. stick on, glue on? How do they hold up when the aframe is closed down and it's 95 degrees outside?. and who knows how hot inside.

They have adhesive backs, but aren't permanent. They've stayed on very well.

That being said, our camper isn't subjected to the extremes you describe. We're in northern Michigan, and we don't see 95° all that often. We also keep our camper out of direct sunlight, covered with a breathable cover and parked under a carport.
