Side-kick. RV-500 help

Would someone shed some light on starting the Side-kick that came with my T12RB? I was not able to get a gas feed, is there gas valve within the camper associated with the Side-kick that overlooked? Bewildered

there should be lever on the coupler on the hose coming from the side of camper, this should be in line with the hose after you connect to stove. should look like pic below.

Some have reported that the hose is so short that it kinks inside the trailer wall when hooked to the rvq.

Make sure you have a little slack and position the grill in the rail such that you don't have tension on the hose.

Apparently a couple extra inches of hose was too high a cost at the factory.

There should be a round white plastic cover about the size of a baseball on the camper's side near the RVQ's mounting rail. Open this up, pull out the hose, plug in on the regulator, and flip the gas valve on. Then turn your regulator on , and light er up!

If this is the first time you've used that connection, it will take a long time for gas to arrive at the valve. Also, the quick-connect fitting on the hose is designed not to allow gas to flow (even with the valve on) if it's not fully engaged. Make sure it's fully clicked onto the gas grill's fitting, turn on the valve, turn on the burner knob, and hold a lit igniter down near the burner. When the gas finally arrives it should light and thereafter work normally unless disconnected for a long period.
