Stove for outdoor rail?

I ended up putting a drop-in stove in a frame so it doesn't have to hang on the side rail, but quite often we use it on the side rail table.

This one looks to be a regular Suburban drop-in stove dropped into some plastic carrier that can connect to the mounting rail. A similar setup could probably be made out of wood or aluminum or whatever material with the same drop-in range cooktop.

I think I've decided for the moment to just use my coleman stove with a propane bottle. For just boiling water and cooking things that aren't messy, I'll just use the indoor stove.

I actually wouldn't mind picking up one of those stove/oven combos so I can bake things when away from power!

I came to the same conclusion and use my trusty old Coleman stove with a bottle. But, I keep thinking that someone should come up with a stove that will use our trailer rails and connection. Shouldn't they?

But if they did you wouldn't want to trade up to the camper that has an outside kitchen with stove.

yea .. well i just kind-a upgraded...

we are kinda outside campers (really only use the aframe to sleep in... except on really rainy days) .. so i just grabbed a coleman propane tree and a couple of 8 ft hose extensions ...
I quess around 100 bucks did the job ... but no more 1lb bottles ... and a three way hookup for both the weber Q, 2 burner stove,. and a lantern ...

Just picked up the 206 carry out stove. Works great, can be on the rail or on a small table. If you use it on the rail you need to open it first. With My hose extension I can move it up to ten feet from "Shiny" and it sits flat. A big improvement over the Bar B que. My dealer ordered it and I had it about 5 days later. Still had to do that 200 mile round trip but I think it was work it.

Did you go to Springfield, Pana or Rockford ( or d:none of the above).

I want one too. CW substituted one for the RVQ on my friends new Rockwood V. I have a Flagstaff V on order, trying to see if the dealer can make it happen since there is over a month to go before I get it. Have had RVQs before, wouldn't want another one

When I was at the RV Shows Aliner had an in out two burner stove that was a little more come back than the Forest River one. May want to check with an Aliner dealer for costs.

low pressure stoves .. are just that .. low pressure ...
they blow out in the wind ... they are just a nuisance when under the slightest wind.
had an outside stove on both my popup tent trailers since 92.
just a waist of time to mod .. where there are much easier solutions .. like what some members stated before ... including myself ..
