I would recommend sway control. It is relatively inexpensive security, especially on single axle unit. Single axles tend to sway more than a tandem axel; I know this from experience. Had R-Pod & towed with Chev. 1500 Suburban with & without sway control. Better by far with.

From the video it looks like a minivan was puling the trailer. My hypothesis for this is the car was set too far back on the trailer in order to lessen the tongue weight on the van. The decision to set the car back made the trailer unstable. As the driver reached highway speeds, a disaster was practically inevitable. The conclusion is to understand the capabilities of your TV and the weight and balance of your trailer.
