T12RB

I have a 2013 Flagstaff T12RB; recently the grey plastic water filter cap broke at off at the top that connects to the water intake pipe. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement water filter housing connection?

If your filter system is made by Water-Pur I would trash it and use an outside filter. Search the forums for the topic "Water-Pur". This is a post of a terrible experience I had with my Water-Pur system. It will also provide a solution I took to remove the Water-Pur system from my A128TH.

Here is the solution to my Water-Pur system: I completely removed the filter fixture after disconnecting the inlet and outlet hoses. I joined the two hoses with a 1/2" x 6" SCH80 PVC nipple purchased from Ace Hardware, $1.49. No installation issues and no leakage. Be sure to wrap both ends of the nipple with plumbing tape.

Either do that or put an accumulator in place of the filter. That can smooth out the water pump functioning and is a plug and play install.

I asked spouse to remove the water filter under the sink and gained better use of space inside the sink cabinet.

Same here.

After reading about low pressure, I never installed the filter in the housing. However that leaves water flowing through the housing to get mixed with quite a bit of air. So the housing was replaced.

If I feel the need for a filter, which I never have, I'll use an inline hose filter.

Interesting. We've used our filter without any issue. I'll have to keep an eye on it, but until it gives me a problem I'll just keep on keeping on.
