The end of an era

Sunday night my wife and I put up our tent in the rain and it was cold Monday night. Camping as we know it will change in two days with the purchase of a 2013 Flagstaff T12RB.
I thought about getting the room addition, but after reading some of the posts in this forum I am having second thoughts. Does anybody have a bicycle rack attached to their camper? Also, I will have an outside shower attachment, when I spoke to the RV dealership they did not know much about the detail; can you relate?

I have a Prorac bicycle rack on mine. Works well.

It's a little pricey, but solid construction and holds 4 bikes. Watch your tongue weight.

Yay! You'll sure enjoy the new camping rig, forrrr sure!

I use the shower to cool my dogs at the friends daughter attend the shows and like nearly every preteen in the summer, has her swimsuit under her clothes. She likes to use the shower to rinse herself cool. LOL

I do notice the water pressure is low (yes the water pump is on) when the outdoor shower is used. Just dont expect raging water action from it....

My unit is capable of carrying bikes on the deck...not sure what others do?

Some folks feel the sink is too small/low and like to use the outdoor shower instead for washing dishes.
Here is another idea for privacy when using the outdoor shower as it is actually intended:

I use my outside shower for washing dirty hands. It saves countless trips inside. The feature is great for that purpose alone.

I still enjoy all types of camping from backpacking to 5th wheeling. When you camp in a camper, as opposed to a tent, you can make reservations far in advance and not worry about weather. Our favorite campgrounds are popular and we have to book months in advance in order to accomodate extended family members. So, let it rain, let it snow, let it be hot or cold! It's all good.
