Our policy includes coverage for anything we buy as soon as we sign on the dotted line. We don't have to contact them for a "binder" before pulling it off the lot. We are automatically covered for 30 days.
Got the max we can. Love that 30 period too. Just added vehicle #6 after having 2.5 weeks just so I could get the tag switched.
I carry a higher deductible ($1000) since im in the collision industry.

If you ever want to find out about insurance slithering, talk to an adjuster. The stories about bald face lies that some customer tell adjusters will make you weep for the state of humanity.
