I wanted members to know that this mpg was attained using a 8 speed transmission/I got a 2014 which is standard with that tranny/my 2012 grand Cherokee was standard with a 5 speed tranny /made a big difference towing or not/ approx. 2 or 3mpg difference on interstate/

9 to 11 on the flat at lower elevations (2K' or less) depending on which way the wind blows.

DA Z (Silverado 2500HD 6.0) gets around 7.5 to 11.5 mpg towing depending on winds and road condition. (hills / traffic) @55 to 60 peaking at 65mph.
Using the onboard puter, gps with obd2 hook up or doing the math the hard way its all within +or - 1mpg of each other.

I was wondering how you got the miles per gallon. The a frames low profile while towing helps. Our best has been 16 worst 12 with a strong head wind.

jlgail32 4309/ you are pulling a 3200 lb trailer / if you info is correct/the libery even with a diesel is near capacity/I would say with your loaded camper you are maxed out on tow rating/what is toe rating on your TV? My last camper was a ck19 starcraft hybrid about the same as your camper / 12 to 15 mpg is all I got/my jeeps towing capacity 6200 lbs/ just what I need to tow about 3000 lbs loaded/I am sure some city drving will bring the mpg down for the non belivers/ the a122s pulls very well and has little wind drag compared to uprights///
