towing fuel mpg

I use an app to keep track of my mileage. Too bad the app could not flip to non metric. It gives me km per liters. As you could see in the pic chart, the low reading are when I tow my A128S, lowest on hilly roads, the mid are city driving without TT, and the high are mostly highway trips without the TT.

2000 Silverado ext. cab, 5.3L V8, pulling 2011 A128. On 10,535 mile trip through Canada and Alaska, averaged 14 mpg overall. We felt good about that result; would be smiling ear to ear if we could get 18. Congrats!

Toyota Tacoma V6 TRD pulling T12RB.

I took delivery in Denver, Co and pulled it over the Eisenhower tunnel and Vail Pass (both over 10,000 ft) to Grand Junction, Co. I got a surprising 17.1 mpg. Most of my towing will be over 3,000 ft elevation and expect a 16 mpg overall. Towing a 176ED to the California north coast I averaged 18 mpg along the coast. Towing speed is always 65 mph
