2006 2500HD crew cab 4x diesel, 6 speed trans, 21-23 empty, 12.5 towing on the flats with mixed hills, 10 in the big hills, pulling a 12.5K 5er. But I have a built trans, twin turbo, EFI tuned and lots of EPA stuff removed., like EGR system, and cat. with the factory truck I saw a little lower MPG`s but did no like the factory power level.

yep, vin code D, LBZ. Considered the hot rod, and the best engine installed in the HD platform, but it does have flaws like pistons

My last camper was a ck19 starcraft hybrid about the same as your camper / 12 to 15 mpg is all I got/my jeeps towing capacity 6200 lbs/ just what I need to tow about 3000 lbs loaded/I am sure some city drving will bring the mpg down for the non belivers/ the a122s pulls very well and has little wind drag compared to uprights///

We just got back from a weekend camping trip in very hilly country - 20 mpg towing with a '98 Ford Ranger, which is better than the 18mpg that I originally thought we were getting by guestimation. Typically we get 24mpg highway, so not too shabby for a trunk with well over 200k miles on it

2014 Flagstaff T12DDST
I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan pulling a Flagstaff 2014 T12DDST. I use a load equalizing hitch and sway control. My van has the 6 speed transmission and the Eco Mode. I pull in 5 gear and the Eco Mode deactivated. I got 18 on my first time out over the weekend. Having traveled about 600 miles on both 55 mph hills and 65 mph interstate roads.

We just returned from a 4200-mile round trip from Wisconsin to Arches and Canyonlands, pulling a Rockwood 2109s (3700 lbs empty, probably 4500 lbs total) with a 2014 Jeep GC diesel. We experienced headwinds, tailwinds, mountain passes (Loveland, Vail, and Wolf Creek), you name it. We got 16 mpg towing the trailer and 17 mpg for the whole trip, taking into account the little bit of driving around we did after unhitching the trailer at various campgrounds.
