Washing and Waxing

I know this is a very stupid question but here goes; How do you wash and wax the walls of your aframe camper?

While the camper is set up do you use a step ladder and a brush with an extension handle to wash it? If so, then how do you wax the camper...sort of hard to wax it with it set up.....I suppose you could lay all of the sides down one at a time and wax the walls except the back wall....the front wall folds down over it so kind of hard to get to back wall with it folded down.

Ive never waxed the Aframe but i do wash it occasionally. I use RV wash/wax which is applied with a long car wash brush, then i spray it all off. To get the dirt off of the caulking i use Black streak remover. I wash with the camper completely closed, not worrying about the inside side framing, which are cleaned with windex for the windows.
Heading out for 9 days on our first trip on saturday .. really looking forward to getting away from home for a while.

I wash fully setup. Then I use to quality cleaner was (Meguires) on the camper. I do the side walls by folding one in at a time and working in the tight space inside to reach all the spots.

After that I lower both walls, and fold the roof. I use a wad of cloths/towels to prop the front roof panel up and get the top portion of the rear panel, then fully fold down and get the rest. I use a ladder to avoid having to crawl on the roof panels.

Lots of stretching to get the roof panels done.

Last is the lower sides.

I don't see the need to wax more than once every 3-4 years as I keep my camper in the garage when not in use.

I use Wal Mart's RV wash and wax, and a soft bristled long handle brush. I wash it while popped up. When it rains the water beads, so I figure it's working as advertised.

I heard no windex on bubble windows

Our A-Frames may seem small compared to travel trailers until you paste wax the unit. Not once but twice a season.
