Water filter bypass

Hello,
Was curious if anyone here by-passed/removed water filter canister.
If so, how did you do it? Materials? Pics?

Someone on the forum found a schedule 80 pvc nipple that worked very well. I couldn't find a ready made part at my Orange Box home store. I made a nipple with a short length of schedule 40 PVC pipe and MPT/Slip fittings.

Just make it about the same length as the canister top.

hand builder,
You must be a member on one of the FB groups as I ran across your picture last night on one of the archive posts.
Is that just a standard length 1/2 threaded on both ends pvc?
This is what I have currently and want to remove.
