Water Pump Noise
There is A LOT of rattling noise when I turn on my faucets. I expect some noise from the water pump but this seems excessive. It sounds like it is shaking my entire trailer. Noise stops as soon as I shut off the faucet. Everything appears to working - just loud. It's a new a122BH, so I am not sure if this is normal or if I have a problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

I feel like the water pump is loud on mine too. I feel like it disturbs the morning peace hearing the pump with its rumbly hum if I'm the first one up and prepping for breakfast meal.

My pump started making more noise than normal, a vibrating sound. I looked at the pump and noticed that a one side of the pump was not mounted, the screw had come out. This was causing lots of vibration because it was ibrting against the wood wall it was mounted on.

Sure do. Water pumps, by their very nature make noise, all of them. Best bet is to isolate it... Chalk it up to just another 'Mod'.

Every RV water pump made, makes noise. It's in the design of the pump. You have to isolate the pump with a rubber pad or rubber washers to reduce the noise. Just the way it operates.

Water pumps do not really make that much noise. They do produce a lot of vibration based on their design. The problem arises when the pump is attached to a surface that is easily vibrated by the water pump and then acts like a drum head. There are vibration dampeners that can be added between the pump and the mounting surface that will help reduce the noise. In addition, the pex lines being semi rigid can also transfer the vibration to walls and floors. If the noise comes from the pex, you can slip split foam pipe insulation over the areas that contact surfaces. Good luck.

Sounds to me like air in the lines. Hot water side is a real pain to bleed correctly.
