What is it called?

Trying to do a "search" for info on the little end pieces of fabric (inside the aframe) that velcro up to the roof panels and hang over the hinges on the bed end and on the dinette end of the a122s. I know I have seen some discussion on them falling off.. even the velcro strip comes off when the camper is closed.

What are those called?

It is called a valance and yes, they do come unglued. There are a lot of suggestions from A-framers but I've not ever seen a quality resolution.

I call them hinge covers but I'm sure a dealers' parts department could tell you what they are technically called.

LOL - if a dealer has trouble understanding hinge covers on the interior hinges in an A-Frame, theres a problem. Calling it a valance would seem confusing as it implies a curtain at the top of a window...

I searched "valances" here.. and only one thread came up discussing the hinge covers.. several came up about curtain and door valances. Nothing for hinge cover. I know I have seen the "not sticking " problem discussed on here. .. somewhere.

I am thinking about going with small screws to attach the velcro strip to the roof panel.

Has anyone done this? What size screw would be safe to use on the inside of the roof panel?
