you don't have to do a search!
simply go to the Classified section here and scroll down the list of things for sale.
most stuff still for sale are the newer posts.
you'll see two ads for A-frame campers, posted by the two members i named.

stuff there usually sells pretty quickly so they don't stay on there very long.

i'm not even sure if our search feature looks in the Classified section.
plus our Classified section isn't a very active one, compared to other Classified sections.
we may average only one new Classified post, every few days.
plus it's only 10 pages long.

CCrane here reporting for duty...I just reduced mine to $9500. I sold one of my Jeeps today and applied the excess to the camper. That's a firm price on a camper that has been under a carport (sadly) for most of its life.

I found the Classified section a little lacking as well... Perhaps with the market being so small they could be listed in this forum as well.

Wanderlust, I'd be willing to meet part way if it would help, I love me a road trip and sometimes find myself bored on the weekends. (my wife is caring for an aging parent...most of the reason I'm selling)

I see where you need more beds than mine has...If you use searchtempest.com, it will look at craigslist results in a specified radius that you are comfortable traveling. That is how the guy that bought my Jeep found me.

Hey CC,
Yep unfortunately I need to be able to sleep 3. But I'm sure with your willingness to meet a buyer half-way you will sell yours quickly.

Good luck and take care,

To All,

I appreciate all the help and advice. I'm going to be very patient. Camping season is almost over for this year and those trying to sell their A-frames (dealers and private owners) are going to have to lower their prices on their used inventory when the calendar rolls around to 2014 ... The Indy travel trailer show is not until February and I will probably wait until then to get serious about "pulling the trigger" on a purchase.

I am going to be diligent between now and then, however, and if a really good deal surfaces I'll probably go for it. So, if any of you happen upon a really good deal on a used A-frame just let me know.

Thanks again you guys/gals, you're the best.
