Which End Is Up?

Please help my husband and I settle a debate! We have a T12 RB. Big question....ready? Which side of the bed does your head lay on? Seriously! We can't agree on this. Is it by the faucet facing the door? Or by the door facing the window?

The answer for us was the placement of the CoolCat heat pump located under the bed. At first logic dictated having our heads on the passenger side of our A126. That meant we could look across the camper toward the window and door side.

After the first cool weather trip we realized this was wrong since that p,aced the CoolCat under our head. We got much better sleep with our heads on the drivers side and the noise of the CoolCat compressor at our feet.

We have been sleeping heads towards the sink wall...of course we haven't used the cool cat during sleep so that could change at some point.

In our A126, we sleep with our heads to the passenger side (door side) and feet to the drivers side (sink side). Reason being, our Coolcat is on the drivers side under the bed. I don't want our heads to on top of it when it kicks in during the night.

ROFL - this post cracked me up! Pull out sofa bed in the trailer's rear - Head on the faucet/driver side..my friend bunked with me & slept in the dining area - she also chose to sleep with head on the faucet/driver side...

We've only slept in our A127 once, but we chose head on the sink side, facing the door. Reason being - so we could face the door. Not that facing either way would change how well we could see the door!!!!!! LOL!!!

Heads toward sink. We have a TV set on the microwave oven cabinet.

I've tried both and concluded the "head-towards-sink" seems better. You can see a TV if you put it on the microwave cabinet, see anyone creeping around the door, and you can easily do a swan dive from the door to the bed.

That said, with the sink so small and close, you have a good chance to get the bed wet when you are doing dishes, which would be where your head is.

But, also important is this - where does the sun come up. If you keep the curtains open (I do), you don't want the morning sun right on your face. That seems like the better determining factor.

easy, which way makes it easier to get out of bed when you need to, especially in the middle of the night.
