Winterizing

Hi All, this is my first winter with my trailer which I had winterized at the dealership however I am looking for some insight into storage...I live in BC, Canada, the winters here are usually wet and cold any suggestions? Will be storing out side. Should it be stored up? Or down? Heater? Or fan? Looking for any support in answering these questions. Cheers!

get yourself a product called damp-rid for moisture issues .
store in the down position.

yep .. damp rid, store it closed with the nose tilted up a bit ... so no moisture/rain builds up on the mid-roof seal, just above the window. Pull the covers off both your propane tank and spare tire ... store inside once they are dry, and cover both the spare and tanks with a bungied tarp, this helps the covers look and stay new for a few more years. Disconnect the battery and store it inside, and run a charger on it once in a while to help it along through the long winter months. Check your tire pressure and push in a few lbs of air if needed.

I concur with the above advice, remove the battery from smoke detector, leave fridge door open to circulate air.Remove everything from inside camper and wipe down everything to get rid of ordors that might attract small critters.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and support! So it sounds like the 'damp rid' stuff is all we need. I have been recommended to place a fan inside to circulate the air however that would leave the exterior door open to the inside...your thoughts on this? By the way love the suggestion of propane and tire cover...never thought of that! Cheers!
