Does this unit come factory installed with a winterizing kit by Forest River for adding RV antifreeze as well as bypassing the water heater or do I need to purchase these bypass kits from amazon below? Don't want to buy if I don't need to. Appreciate your help in advance
I use the blow out process to winterized my A128S last year. It got under -20 Celsius here in Toronto and I had no problem with my lines this season. I'm using this process again this year. Here is the link on how to winterize your rig http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...g-29237-1.html
I only use the antifreeze in the sink drain pipe. How easy/cheap is that and getting back to normal use is quick too.
Went I was doing my PDI, I asked about blowing out lines to winterized. He said no problem and said to wrap a towel around the air hose and place it in the sink drain to blow the p trap out. (Take off the cap on the outside when blowing out) So no antifreeze needed.

A shop vac on the outside can get most of the water out of the trap as well. That is what I do along with the line blow out if we are expecting a hard freeze.
