You two can do be opposites (excited and want it vs unconvinced) & salesman might sweeten the purchase by throwing in stuff. I negotiated the screen room in my purchase when trailer cost couldnt be pushed any lower (about 26-27% less MSRP). They also gave us a larger battery (new) and wheel chocks. The battery on the trailer was discovered to be NOT new - we looked at the date & asked about it, they were surprised (embarrased they didnt check themselves) & quickly exchanged for a new (& on DH request, larger) battery. I wanted the trailer, once walk thru was done, DH left me to negotiate the purchase details while he BSd with service tech looking at other RVs.
