It's no different than any other fan/light combo. Power (black) neutral (white) ground (green or bare wire). The light wire is sometimes attached directly to the power wire sometimes to a separate wire (maybe blue). With the breaker switched off, disconnect the power wire at the fan and try the switch again after you turn the breaker back on. If the breaker still pops it's the switch or wiring from the switch to the light. If the breaker doesn't pop, it's the fan assy or it was miswired to start with. If you are uncomfortable with electricity ... call an electrical tradesman.
On my Keystone and Cedar Creek fivers ... vent fans have been 12 VDC ... ceiling fan like in stick house have been 120 VAC.

Our ceiling fan (stick house kind) was supposed to be available as a 12v option when we ordered our unit. There was an order line for it and
we ordered as such. When it arrived, it was 110v. I contacted the factory and was told they were phasing out the 12v models.

That's interesting but you can still get the 12V ceiling fans on line from places like Camping World. I wonder if there is a reason why they stopped the 12V. Our RV tech when we got the trailer did say not to reverse it while it the blades were moving as some of the 12V fans would mess up the circuit boards.
I also changed our switch and fan. Ours turned very slow and also made a grinding noise that was very annoying. I just replaced the whole thing with a Hunter fan from Lowes. Took about 15 minutes. The fan that was in there originally was junk. The Hunter fan is brilliantly balanced and super quiet. You cannot hear it at all. I threw the original in the dumpster.
I couldn't find any manuals or literature on the original fan either.
