ceiling fan

Just picked up my trilogy after warranty work. One of the problems was the rear fan was turning slower than the front. After replacing the fan the problem remained. The tech then discovered that there is a very small slider on the side if the switch that changes the speed. This is on the wall switch for the front fan and the ceiling switch under the rear cabinets for the rear fan.

Had no idea, thanks for passing along this valuable information.

Thank you. When we bought our Trilogy in July, I questioned the same problem with one of our fans. After the tech checked it out, we were told it was just a difference in fan motors. After reading your info I checked the switch and sure enough that obscured little slider was in the mid position. Both fans the same speed now. Thank you again.

Make sure the chain is in the position to be on high. The dealer I purchased from got me a new fan but it took 2 mos. The dealer I took it to for warranty work installed a new fan and gave me the old fan. They then discovered the switch. I now have 2 replacement fans.

Wow! I checked ours immediately and there it is - a little switch on the side. Thanks for posting this info. We keep learning new things about our 2 month old Trilogy.
