I purchased a cargo rack and tote for the rear hitch.i use this to store my sewer hoses and our Rv mat. Which sometimes is kinda dirty if it's raining when we were camping. Also fits wife's solar patio lights, and electric fly trap. This stuff is pretty light as the hitch is only good for 250 lb. I seen some good ideas from other members for sewer hose storage with abs pipe and will install that setup eventually.but for now in just keep them in garbage bag an trow them in the tote.
Will have to move my licence plate to back of rack.lol
We have friends that have cedar creeks and they all have outside speakers for listing to music. Wife kept asking how come we never had outside speakers. Not that we listen to loud music but it's nice to listen to some tunes while having a cold one or to listen to local radio when your in new locations. I did not want to cut holes in outside of our trailer so I installed some speakers in storage compartment and installed a car stereo in the pannel under electrical access
. Works great the stereo has Bluetooth so if your sitting by fire you can play music from your phone or iPod.
We have a black lab and after using the Dyson vac that came with the trailer I decided to install a dirt devil central vac.our friends have one in their trailer and I was impressed with it. There was lots of room to install it behind the panel In storage area.i had to move my transfer switch back about a foot or so.this was no issue cause there was lots of excess wire.
I installed a outlet next to the closet just above first stair
. I also installed one in the storage area so I could vacuum that area if needed. Or if you wanted to vacuum out your truck also.
. I set the unit up so that I cut a hole in the panel so when it's screwed into place just the end of the vacuum canister protrudes trough the opening.this way I can change the bag in the vacuum once it's full without having to remove panel.
the only downfall with the dirt devil was the lack of a power head for the carpet.it came with a air driven rug rat for carpet.what I did was I purchased a hose and electric power head unit for a household central vac.you can get them at any place that sells central vacs ( $150-250) some are fancier. The hose fits right in the dirt devel Fitting and we just plug the cord for the power head into the outlet that was in place for the Dyson. This kit came with a hose and floor attachment and it's own hose so I just keep the one that came with the dirt devil in the basement storage to use in that outlet.
In the storage area I found these racks and installed them.they are nice to keep all the small stuff at hands reach and not having to search for it every time you need it.
