I have the exact hitch that you are looking at. It is a good hitch & I have had absolutely no problems; however, if pin weight is a concern - beware that this is one heavy sucker. It is significantly heavier than a 16K hitch.

Finally settled for a Reese 25K as it installs right on the factory under bed rails. It was costly but I used American Rv Company not far from my house with free delivery. I looked at other places for it and they were all the same price, BUT, American RV had a make offer box so I made an offer I did not think they would accept and it was accepted. Should have offered less haha. Saturday I went and looked at the unit which is a 3800rl (I erred in that on my earlier post) and found some issues that was told no problem. So Sunday on my actual walk through I went inside and found the rear inner window shattered and screen ripped. Further inspection I see the lot boy ( I have another name for him but reserve it for outside public forums) closed the slides without the chairs tucked away and smashed them. Along with it one of the wood slides both valances and some minor wall damage. Now how is this for stupid? All parts are ordered to repair and replace the chairs. It just sucks. They say just one week and someone may very well lose their job, I hope not.

The dining chairs are $115 each. Please don't ask how I know.

Haha the chairs they broke were the leather swivels. Guess it is better for me they did it and showed me what those slides can do. Now I will be much much more careful.

Back to the hitch issue. I used a Reese Goose Box with our Cardinal 37RL fiver. The Trilogy 36RE is more trailer than the goose-box can handle. With great regret, I am installing a 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck. The touring has the ridgid rubber pin box so I am installing a trailer-saver TS3 with air bags by Hensley Manufacturing.

Thats a good hitch. I have the Hensley BD3, this is my second season with it, really smooths out the ride. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

I sold the goose-box today and reinstalled the original pinbox. The Hensley TS3 was installed two days ago. I am excited to try it out but am not planning an extensive trip until the end of May.

It seems that Reese has not been able to keep up with production as they are on backorder

i have a Reese Air ride Side winder, I love this pin box, is turns under the fifth wheel instead of in the truck bed. What is this means is, short turning radius. You don't have to swing out as far until your able to make your turn and the front of my 2013 3800D3 is 21" FARTHER AWAY FORM MY CAB. I HAVE HAD IT IN OVER A 90 DEG. TRUN AND IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO MY TRUCK CAB. I have a 18,000 lbs KW slider hitch but I don't need to use the slider anymore and it rides like a dream.
