I wanted to upload a photo here to show how I resolved a problem where the "lower" LED taillights were popping off of the rear fiberglass cap.
The LED taillights are straight, but the cap has a curve to it. So while the lights will bend slightly to fit, they tend to pull away and rip a screw out of the fiberglass.
So, I drilled out the hole where the screws go in, installed cheap plastic Sheetrock wall anchors and then screwed the taillights into that. It works much much better and is far more secure. Total fix was free since I had some of these wall anchors in a junk box.

Here is the little wall anchor with some clear silicon around it to seal it well:
The extra hole you see below my anchor is one that was drilled by the manufacturer--obviously in the wrong place. So, I just filled that with silicon.
