Leak at Trilogy entry door

When it rains, water leaks down our entrance door. The dealer has tried a number of things but it leaked again last night - heavily.

Our awning over the same door appears to be installed wrong as when it is closed, the cover does not come all the way around it.

We feel there is a connection between the leak and the awning. Incidentally, when it rains the closed awning fills with water.

Help. Has anyone else had either/both of these problems?

JD

Is it possible the awning is closed in the wrong direction. Have you tried to close it in the opposite direction.

Had the same problem with leak on entry door. I re-caulked all along the top side of my awning and haven't had a leak since. Probably coming from the lag screws holding the awning on.

The top side of the awning had been thoroughly caulked. The screws had been caulked. Stilled leaked. The problem is our awning was installed incorrectly at the factory and it holds water when rolled up. Finally a different worker at our dealership slightly moved our awning up (it needs to be moved up a lot but can't be) and no more leaks. This with a lot of heavy rain. Fingers crossed.
