Cool My new Trilogy

I trade my Carriage Cameo for a Dynamax Trilogy 10 days ago.
Love my unit a lot will do more when ever get ride off all `bugs `

Within 12 hrs had water running underneath due to a employee who damage the water line near fresh water thank dealer had to come twice to fix problem had to renew the entire hose.
Within 24 hrs the fridge water filter was leaking so badly had to isolate water line now waiting on new filter , then it was the shower`s turn no silicone around shower water running all over the florr and the last but not the least water problem was with the sky dome edge all busted and as soon had rain water ingress into shower waiting on new dome was told 4 to 6 weeks .......
Fridge water filter unknow

Had no tv for a while plug in my sat in proper inlet but wasn't aware of all 14 connectors on the left side of the water manifold , the technician trace back wire from tv set to those outlet which no one knew about it due to a lack of communication between Dynamax and Dealer.

Had to get in touch with poplocks since i wasn't able to unlock my door using key board again dealer had no clue what to do .

3 days ago found a small crack in window behind dinette chair another 4 to 6 weeks for repair.

Few scraths on unit that will require dealer to look after.

On our camping ground in Quebec city i'm the fith guy who just bought a brand new unit in the past month and you would believed some of the story going on my water problem are nothing to compare the owners of a Crossroad Lincon .

Like i said at the begining i love my Trilogy and can hardly wait till all Bugs out of it.

Dynamax should take time to give a certain amout of training to all his employees specially when it come down to the inspection before delivery to the dealer which they should inspect the unit again with their eyes open for a change.

Bottom line we the customers are stuck with all the inconvenients and for the amount of money we need to come with for those units we do have the right to get more for our money

Rene , we also had the same problem with the water filter in our refrigerator ! I took the filter out and went to dealer to get replacement and they had none in stock, so they sent one of their guys down to Lowe's to get one, they are a common filter so they should be available at places that sell appliances.
We also have the same problem with the shower skylight ,numerous cracks, I have not inquired for replacement as of yet as we do have a trip or 2 planned before end of season and I don't want her sitting in the dealers lot when we can be using it.
Those are the only issues we have had to date.
Also just something to keep your eye on is the drawers under the stove top they tend to open while in transit, I added 2 latches to each of the drawers but we have not been out since I did it so I don't know if the issue is solved.
One other thing just hit me , watch the drain pipes under the kitchen sink I found that 1 of the pipes had come loose during travel and upon closer inspection I concluded that both of them were too short so I replaced them with longer ones, it was a $5 fix and an hour of my time and no time sitting at a dealers .

More updates. We reinforced the bottoms of the cookware drawer and the silverware drawer. LEDs on awning appeared to have shorted out. We are now dealing with a serious water leak that lasted for 3 days in heavy rain. It showed up at the foot of the stairs below the window. Possibly a leak from the window but as you all know water leaks are so hard to trace! We've been in heavy rain before and no leaks so not sure what's up. Heading South and East to get to the factory, hopefully around the storms! It's so frustrating to try to get to connections on the back of the TV in the living room. Still love our 3650RL and I don't think it's the factory not training dealers, but rather dealers not investing in training. The good ones do.

It's interesting to hear what everyone is finding for issues. I bought my unit in March, 3800D3 Unit #00092. I have been living in my unit for work since March and have not been able to get back to my dealer to get the warranty work performed. Note: Only the dealer that you purchase your unit from will do the warranty work. Unless of course you want to pay for the work yourself and submit the bills to Forrest River.
One thing that I found that I haven't seen on the forum is the roof membrane has fractures in a few locations. I have contacted the factory rep to get some assistance but have not received much help. Asked for a roof repair procedure so that it gets fixed to a factory acceptable standard but have yet to get anything. I have sealed the fractures with a rubberized leak sealer until I can get back to my dealer.
I too have a cracked skylight and the bathroom window has a crack in it, no water leaks as far as I know.
Do I love my unit... you bet. It feels more like a condo than a trailer and unless someone builds a better unit in the next two years I'll be buying another Trilogy. Of course next time I'll be more particular of getting everything corrected before I pick it up.

New Trilogy Glitches

I got my new Trilogy in April, 2013 and have had only minor issues but no one to help. I did have the problem with the door lock "dropping" the codes but it turned out all it need was some spray lubricant. I called the lock maker and they gave me a code to get in - it would lock with the buttons but quit unlocking shortly thereafter. When I hauled it 50 miles to the dealer, they sprayed lub in and it's working great. The door closes much easier also. (I had tried a dry lube but that didn't work.)

I am now trying to find a wiring diagram for the "pre-wired" satellite system. The satellite installer came out 3 days ago and could only get 1 TV hooked up because he couldn't figure out where the wires all went/came from. He found plenty of wires, just non to the TV in bedroom. Any ideas?

I also had one other problem that I knew would be an easy fix but my Trilogy didn't come with a diagram of where all the fuses were and when I called Trilogy, no help. My awnings suddenly quit working with the inside switch but worked great with the remote. I felt strongly it was a fuse but the one inside the door Trilogy told me to replace did nothing to help. Same trip to dealer- it was a fuse which was located in the cargo bay, on left, behind a panel with about 8-10 screws. I could have easily fixed both of these if I had the information.

Thanks for any help on where I can get information... Maybe even what all those fuses in the cargo bay go to?

If you call dynamax they will give you the name of a dealer close to you to habe warrenty work performed. I purchased my 3838 d3 4 hrs away. It is now at Terry Vaughn in Alvun Tx having warrenty work completed. The service manager kept repeating " They cover everything bumper to bumper". Love my trilogy

I have heard that the air conditioning in the Trilogy is very loud. Anyone have any problems with this?

My new Trilogy

Yes the A/C is very loud and when ever it is cold the heat pump and the furnace does go on this is the way the sysrem is built.
Right now temp at freezing point nt time and mid 40 to low 50 day time i found the Trilogy much cooler than my Cameo will have to add insulation in cargo area and underneath .

Thanks Rene for the info. Wondering if there is anything that can be done to make it less noisy? I have heard that the Trilogy needs more insulation in the front. Wondering why they skimp on that in such a nice unit.

My new Trilogy

A/C noise not much you can do about it.

Insulation the more you cut back the bigger your profit will be
