Repairs authorized through a different dealer and parts shipped immediately.
As you know, there are issues with all RV’s. However, these early units have bells and whistles, like the fiberglass roof that you can no longer get on any other fiver except Elite Suites with MSRP’s of $160,000 to $200,000. Over time, the quality of the components, construction and design will be more evident.
Last fall we camped next to a Trilogy and I was impressed by its good looks and the quality components used. My discontinued Aviator has a very similar story- including a fiberglass roof and a high MSRP that ended up being deeply discounted. I believe you are correct when you say the Trilogy will stand the test of time.

That is a nice fiver...rounded style with better options, roof, paint, etc.

On any of these older remaining models, I would open with an offer of $60,000 out the door. Bought mine in October of 2013 and they had it advertised for $63,900 on close out. There are likely still some factory incentives. There may even be a dealer or two out there that have been selected as a factory closeout dealer.
The factory had a marketing/sales rep., who really helped me. When I explained to him that my dealer and I were only $2,000 apart, I suspect he called the dealer and added more factory incetive, as the dealer dropped their price shortly after our call.
Dynamax still has a brand to protect and will want to phase these out gracefully.
