I agree, the Aisin is one heck of a transmission, up and down shifts are sooo smooth and properly timed, no jerking around. They did well offering it as an option.

I had the 68RFE with 3:73 rear in my 08 Ram, and the 13 w/ Aisin was a far superior tow rig, even with the 3:42s. The dually with Aisin and 4:10s is just incredible.

I have driven a DRW to/from work since july 2007, but I just drive to work and get into my company Aerial Lift, which is a F450 stretch bed now. They are about the exact same length. Then drive around in the City all day installing services. The large truck gets a Little hairy in downtown Charlotte sometimes! You will get used to it! Best of luck.
