Short bed truck

Does Anyone tow their trilogy with a short bed truck . We have a mega cab 3500 ram with short box and I was wondering if anyone is using the same truck and what kind of slider they have. I was looking at a pull right and they stated that some trailers are too wide to make a 90' turn. We don't pick up our unit till May and I am just trying to figure out witch hitch I should get . Thanks in advance.

We pull our 3650 RL with a 6 foot Silverado bed, no slider. I keep an eye on the cap and truck and have never really come close. IMO and from what I have read, with the new designs of the aerodynamic caps, the need for a slider is very limited.

I have a short bed Ram and an Andersen hitch, no problem jack knifing my Sierra.

But, always best to go find a big parking lot and try it in a controlled environment instead of getting caught in a bind.

5' 6" short bed--------------

I pull a Rockwood Fifth wheel 8285-WS with a 5'6" F-150 with a short bed. I use a Pul-Rite #3100 hitch. I also have had my truck at 90 degrees to the front cap of the fifth wheel with clearance. I did have to use the hitch lift kit
because of high bed rails. You will have to use the heavier Pul-Rite hitch for the weight of your new unit such as the ISR super glide 18K
