Congrats bpe, You will fall in love with it as We have. Be prepared for all the other campers to visit your campsite. It's amazing how many people stop by to ask about the Trilogy and the Thumbs Up you get on the road. It does actually make you proud to have something that is different from the norm.

bpe: I'm so glad your misgivings have been resolved. You will love your Trilogy. And Rambler you are so right about people stopping by to gawk and ask questions about it. People seem to love the color and comment on how beautiful it is.

Still some things I really dont like but we believe we can live with them. We dont like the placement of the w/d. The large pantry on hinges has problems. The magnet screws were pulled thru the paneling. I really cant see the benefit of it being on hinges. Told salesman we would be content if they locked it down in place. that would eliminate the problem sum magnets. Insulation is a disappointment but believe we can live with it. just burn more propane. is a beautiful coach with many "options" as standard for others. It is not our DRV but it is about 30,000 less money for a comparable unit. It will "fix" our storage problem.

You know if I had to complain about one thing it would be the pantry. That setup leaves a lot to be desired. The shelves aren't very deep and the boards to hold cans, etc., in won't hold most cans or bottles in place. We're going to do a makeover on it in the Fall. But all in all it isn't something I can't live with, and it's a small price to pay for everything else that's standard equipment.

We have been very happy with our Trilogy, I think everyone has a few things that they would change but I think you will be very happy with the Trilogy. I will say this, the customer service from Trilogy has been second to none so far. We had some initial issues because the dealer didn't seem to know much about the unit but once we started working directly with Dynamax it has been great.

The location of w/d concerns me. I have to work nights on some jobs. Not in good location for sleeping and laundry. I may regret this.

Defiant and others buying a 3650, check the battery compartment during your PDI. In our 3650' there were two batteries in a front compartment, on on a lower shelf that was recessed an inch or so and the second above it on a flat shelf with no edge or tiedaow. So guess what? Top battery shifted all around and the movement broke the cable connecting them. DH bought a battery hold down clamp and had the tech at Guaranty RV in Junction City, OR install it, while they did a day and a half of warranty work most of which should have been caught in our PDI. They had not worked on a Trilogy before but these guys know what the re doing and figured it all out. So I think our expectation that dealers don't know our units are excusing them, an experienced tech can figure it all out. Overall they were quite impressed with the product but amazed at the poor service we received from our dealer. Guaranty exceeded our expectations. Just FYI, if any of you need work done on any rig.

Thank you Sherry for the heads-up on the battery issue I will be checking out everything very carefully in our PDI ,the poor guy who gets to run us thru it might be having a baaaadddd day , we are staying in a campground near Colerain RV in Cincinnati for 3 days to attempt to catch any major issues, the minor stuff I can deal with myself

bpe ,as far as the washer /dryer issues goes, in the nose isn't my first choice either, but after sitting back and thinking about it we decided its not going to be an issue , I think once you get settled in you will adapt to the location of the W/D and it will become a non-issue

My 3850D

I have been absent from this forum for awhile. We have been stuck here since April waiting to hit the road but family situation has kept us here. We would like to make the trip to the factory to take care of a few warranty issues before our year runs out. They are not major things but they are critical. I would also like to tell owners of any unit with a slide to be very careful when operating to make sure nothing is laying on the floor as we had a chipped piece from a plate tear up a small section of vinyl flooring. I noticed there are design changes even in our unit so quickly after being first released. We travel with our 18 year old daughter and keep a strictly kosher kitchen and still have not filled the storage areas with the requirement of multiple cooking/flatware. The w/d is not a bother at all, I especially like sitting in the aft area recliners when the dryer goes on spin, reminds me of those old motels with the massage bed....no need for a quarter!

We have to bail out on the trigoly. It is a early model 2013 basically a 2012. According to the factory rep I spoke to it has no insulation in the front cap. He stated they added the cedar shelf in leiu of insulation as that provides as much as insulation in that area. The unit we were looking at doesn't have the cedar in cap. Also he wanting 75,000 for it and I found it for 69995 in several places on line. Also the W/D location is a big minus. We are going with a lightly used drv about same money, much better floorplan. Thank everyone for their input. God bless

bpe , sorry it didn't work out for you , we were considering DRV's also but with all of the options that we wanted that are already on the Trilogy standard , wasn't worth the extra cash and we didn't want to go used since it will be our fulltime rig and we wanted to start out all new. I'm glad you finally found your match and hope it works well and gives you many trouble free miles !

Thanks. I don't know of anything that is on Trilogy that isn't on DRV Mobile Suites. Toppers may not but I question having them. They do provide shade for slides but is the most troublesome item on any rv. Wind literally destroys them. You can find slightly used units. May have to travel a ways. Bought mine used and honestly even the towels were never used. Not a scratch on it. Looked new. Never a problem that isn't common to most rvs.
