I thought I would follow up on this real quick. It's been a while, but our dealer along with Forest River and Dexter all worked together to replace the entire suspension on our Trilogy. It was a pain (the whole process) but I am satisfied with the result.

We pulled her 2000 miles round trip over smooth and rough roads and through high winds, cold and rain and sunny weather. I have to say that the trailer pulled very well. Extremely smooth and stable and it didn't give us one lick of a problem the whole trip.

I cancelled our appointment with Mor/Ryde until after that trip to see if I felt replacement with an IS suspension would be necessary and I can say that at this time I do not think it is.

Honestly, it was the smoothest and best pulling experience I've had with a trailer. So, my plan is to keep a close eye on the condition of the suspension and perhaps look into the suspension upgrade in two to three years if this one is looking worn at all.

Berryland did great in the end. They really did try their best to make us happy and that is more than you can say for most RV dealers these days.

I'm glad the dealer and manufacturer took care of you. I'm at MoRryde as I write this. Mine went out twice. Everything we hit a bump on the way from South Texas to Elkhart I wondered if was going to happen again. The plan is to keep this coach so I'm adding disc brakes and upgrading bearings. Expensive but worth the peace of mind. Hole yours rolls on for years with no problems.

Out with the old, in with the new. New suspension, new brakes and new bearings. A difference of day and night towing

Congrats on your new Independent Suspension & Disc Brakes! You'll wonder how you got along without them!

After having the morryde is installed I will never own another 5th wheel without it. On y install they added a 2x3 rectangular tubing under the current frame to mount the is to. This raised the RV but that was fine.

Ok.....it is my turn to get the more-ryde is system after three repairs to the lippert suspension while on the road. The best part is that I can have a better level of confidence that we will arrive at our destination without a breakdown.

Congratulations, you're going to love it. After our install when I hit a bump I start to cringe, then smile when I realize new suspension, no problem.

If you don't mind.

What does that upgrade cost?

Kenny, it cost me just under $7000. This for axles, disk brakes and bearing upgrade.
