Water Heater

We just picked up our 2014 Trilogy Touring last Thursday. Must say everything is going well. Only a few cosmetic issues that the dealer is correcting. We do have a little annoying issue with the WH. When running a faucet the water gets warm, then cool, then warm again. This happens on either gas or electric. In the Cameo we traded the water got hot, not warm, hot and it stayed hot. Anybody have this issue or any clue what might be causing it?

Thanks
Mike

The water heater inlet outlet valves sound open but the bypass is also. It wil allow fluctuating water up the line, mostly tepid, not hot.

x2 shut that middle bypass valve or you will just be mixing hot and cold water

You may also want to check the outside shower and make sure both sides are turned off.
Also the Trilogy has 'homeruns' from the water manifold to the tabs which takes a little getting used to.

All of the above. The by pass valves were open on ours. There are additional valves behind the panel that covers the valve body.

Thanks to all. Made perfect sense after reading the suggestions. Taking back to the dealer in am, will add to our small list. It will be nice to take a shower without occasional blue lips and "blue air".

Removed the panel, turned the valve and hot water now works fine. Again thanks to all.
