Had the same issue and you’re right it’s a real pain. Not much room to maneuver the fridge in or out either.

Done! Had some delays, but I am happy with the end result. Basically just a sheet of aluminum 29” x 50”. I drilled two holes in the tray for the hydraulic pump and bolted it up to the underside. The opposite end I had them bend in a 2” lip and set some self tapping screws to secure that end. Small brace in the middle to keep it secure. Moved the EMR box over by the pump, and a bungee cord in the middle to keep things secured. This will help my basement organization quite a bit!

I also attached a piece of expanded aluminum underneath the stair compartment. I like to store my shoes there, now the wife can put hers there too!Click image for larger version

Slide toppers are something I would like to add. But first, need to replace a window [emoji50]

I know I shouldn’t be surprised, because it’s Lippert, but allegedly I have to remove the entire window from the coach to find the part number. Then reinstall and wait 1-2 months for the ENTIRE 3 piece window to show up, with shipping cost being quite close to exorbitant cost of window. As for how it happened, I’m guessing I caught a lucky rock on the freeway. Didn’t notice till my morning coffee the day after a move.

Why don't you post a question as to what window on the Dynamax motorhome thread, BC Clemens might be able to offer some help. Not sure he was there when they made the Trilogy but he always seems to be able to find out info for owners, Just a thought, good luck.

Thank you. I messaged him, and confirmed that it is in fact required to replace the entire unit. Removed the window from the coach and found the sticker. Have a new window on order, hopefully ships late next week. Till then, duct tape lol.

While waiting for our window to show up, we contacted Performance Trailer Brake and found that we were only 30 miles from their regional installer for Arizona, Dennis Hageman of SonChaser RV. We paid him a visit and wow, disc brakes are worth the hype! What an amazing difference. And unlike my AlKo drum brakes, parts are readily available!! Even my wife is impressed with the difference. If you are considering this upgrade, do it. This is how a trailer should tow.

Slide Toppers, courtesy of Shade Pro. We went with the Carefree of Colorado ‘Ascent’ model, which was required as one slide is 206” long which excluded most others (max at 196”)

Those are nice units. They have serial numbers on them which make ordering replacement parts easy and carefree. Pun intended.

So far I am very impressed with the fit and finish of these. Shame I could not order them in Canada, but works out to be much cheaper in California anyway. And as an added bonus, since our main awning is a Carefree as well, the profiles match!

Found some steps on a local classifieds site, couldn’t pass it up. Super easy install, but i do need to trim the screen door so I just removed it for now.

MorRyde Step Above with handrail.

I had to change out one of the windows on my door side slide. Dump truck ran a rod (sticking out the side of the truck) into it. Had to order the window twice as the first one was not double pane, as I had requested because that is what was there already. Be sure you specified double pane. Took about three months but got it done myself.

The window cutout on the slide was way bigger than it needed to be. Used some of the styrofoam that came with the new window to ship it. Real pain but no leaks
