It ended up that the gas line was pinched when the slides were in. Thanks for all the help!

That should not happen, if it does it much it will weaken the line and it could break and then you have a gas leak.
You should have this looked at ASAP.

Yea! At least you found the reason and now the solution so it won't happen again. A pinched line is a no-no.
