Cool air and furnace heat together

I'm new to the RV life. My family plans to full time and I'm working out the bugs in my slightly used 5th wheel as we transition.

When I turn on my furnace (zone 2), I get heat from the floor vents and cool air coming from the ceiling vents in zone 1. Is that normal? It doesn't seem right. I have a 2015 Palomino Columbus 385BH.

Assume furnace zone 2 is the main living area and zone 1 is the front AC area. Ours is exactly opposite. Check each zone and make sure each zone is set to off. Then go to zone 2 and set it to furnace. If when furnace comes on the fan in zone 1 runs you have a thermostat problem. There is a reset procedure for the thermostat, but you would have to look in thermostat manual or online.

Your fan must be on AUTO. If HIGH or LOW is selected air will discharge out of both floor heat vents and ceiling AC vents.
