Lots.
We use our R/V oven to cook/bake things as much when camping, as we do our house oven at home.
Why would it be any different?

Love using our oven. Purposely made sure there was one when we purchased our trailer. I do have a little toaster oven that I will setup outside and use when it is really hot as to not heat up inside.

I want to add two more thoughts. I'm surprised how many don't use it. When we were in the market we walked away from units that only had the overhead convection microwave and no oven.
Another note, I haven't done it yet but I always considered buying a piezo electric ignitor (Bar-B-Q grill replacement ignitor) from Home Depot and adding it to the oven so we can light the pilot by hitting a button instead of me bending down and lighting it with the lighter. Just a thought.

I truthfully don't think ours stays lit and we turn gas off when packing up. I like the idea about the grill ignition and would be curious about how that works. Our pilot doesn't want to light right away like it needs to bleed. We do light a range burner to make sure gas is bled to stove. It was the same with our previous trailer.

When lighting the pilot, a thermocouple requires flame heat in order to allow gas flow for the pilot light, correct? If so, piezo-electric is not an option.

I think they are wanting the Piezo to light the pilot flame which will then heat the T/C and allow the oven to light.

Incorrect. You push the knob IN to get the gas to flow. Once lit, the thermocoupler KEEPS the gas flow on so you can release the knob.

I prefer to valve off all propane when driving. I've seen some nasty rv accidents and free flowing propane cannot be seen as an advantage.

Check your manual or unit... All the recent models of reefers, freezers and hot water don't have pilot lights. That is old school technology. Everyone uses DSI - Direct Spark Ignition. If the spark doesn't light it off the gas shuts off, so no danger, no smell. Most travel with gas on for HW or Reefer to operate while on the road and at stops.

Used oven once and burnt everything. Purchased a Oster counter top convection oven ,have had it 7 or 8 years and love it.

But... we are discussing ovens here, not refers, freezers, or water heaters.
