Exterior Portable Grill Concerns

We have a Rockwood Roo 25RS with the exterior grill accessory. Our dealer advised us he uses a side table as opposed to attaching it on the trailer because of concerns of discoloring the siding of the trailer. Has anyone out there had issues with this or is he being too cautious?

Have used mine quite a bit. No problem. Sidewall does not get excessively hot.

My last popup had one as well as the new trailer. Haven't used the new one yet, but we used the mess out of the old one. Two years and never had a problem.

You will hear that a lot. That it will discolor your awning as well. I felt the same way. However, I've not seen a single pic of evidence of this though. So its a personal call.

I decided to hang a table on the camper and already own a Coleman Grill 2 Go. My Roo grill is sitting in the garage.
