external propane adapter parts 03 Sierra

So I have a "new to me" 23' 2003 FR Sierra. It has the line for hooking up an external propane appliance (it was designed for the travel BBQ that did not come with this). Now I want to hook this up to another BBQ. What are the connections I need? It looks like a 1/4" connector that is needed. Picture below..

Hard to tell but the end piece should be a quick disconnect.
the grill should have the male end on it.

I tried to find one at my local Propane dealer by taking off the valve and taking it with me guess what? they didn't carry it they had something similar but not quite it just wouldn't work. Went next to RV dealer they only had a complete set up for sale valve and all and at around $100 dollars I don't think so. So got on internet but had so many to choose from and thinking if i bought one that looked like it could work but ??? so I just machined one up on my lathe myself since I'm so Dang Cheap.....

thanks for all the replies...what I also found out at my dealer today was its piped for the low pressure and the grill I have of course is high pressure. So instead of doing all of the conversions needed OR the hassle of returning the travel grill, I think I may jut take a spare tank to use...maybe eventually I will make a change. thanks for all of the info!!
