furnace cause lp alarm?

First time I have had the lp alarm sound off. I turned on the furnace and about 5 minutes later the lp alarm went off. Turned off furnace and opened the entry door. Alarm stop. Turned furnace on again, alarm went off again. I heard the igniter snap about 3 time and furnace started running each time. I have been using it a few times last week without any problems with alarm. I'm not sure where I should start troubleshooting. Idea's please. Suburban Furnace. Thanks in advance

Yes.. I found the problem to be in the stove top burner. Turned lp off last night. This morning I started looking into it. Turned lp , on ,went inside and heard gas noise. this was before I turned furnace on. One of the burners valves was bummed on to the low setting. Turned that off and alarm no more. Now I want to come up with a way to lock the knows so they can't be turned on by bumping them.
Thanks TURBS.
