Furnace issue ??

I just noticed this and I don't know if there is a problem. I have a 2012 Georgetown 329. When I am plugged into 110 or if the gen set is running, when I put the heat on, the roof air comes on at the same time as the furnace. The thermostat is in the heat setting mode and not the heat strip setting. The furnace does fire up and provides heated air flow thru the lower duct system as it should but the roof air system stays on. I do have duel roof top units and two separate thermostats. It happens with the front and rear units when each thermostat is placed in the heat mode.

Put your thermostat on "auto" instead of high or low for fan

You can use this function to your advantage in some instances. If you need to circulate the air a little better. Running the thermostat on Hi or Lo will simply circulate the warm air up near the ceiling.

Yep, it's not a 'problem' but an option.
Many come here thinking something is wrong when actually, it is working just as designed.

As Flybob mentioned you can use it to your advantage when necessary.
Dometic has included the option of running the A/C blower with the furnace to help distribute heat throughout the rig. Warm air rises and gets trapped near the ceiling. The A/C blower option helps move that warm air to other parts of the rig.

You can either use it... or not. Your choice.

You have to re-open the tank valve VERY SLOWLY. If you don't, the high flow rate to repressurize the lines will cause the auto-shutoff valve to close. Try reclosing the tank valve, then opening VERY SLOWLY.

Bleed the line by lighting a stove burner.
Usually that's all it takes to get the air out.
