furnace operating instructions

bought a new rockwood freedom popup with suburban NT16S furnace.Instructions say the furnace is equipped with a shut-off valve switch for the propane, but we can't find it. Instructions also say the electric power to the furnace can and should be turned off as part of startup, but how? The instructions didn't provide pictures, so we're stuck. Need help.

I asked where I bought the popup from and was told the instructions are misleading. There is no shutoff valve on the furnace. There is no on/off switch for electricity. Just use the thermostat to turn the furnace on or off. So, it's just like the furnace and thermostat in my home. Very simple. Turn on the valve on the propane tank. Then turn the thermostat on.

That makes more sense. Your manual must have been translated from a "tough to translate" language --------
