Furnace overwhelming regulator
It got cold this weekend in Spring, TX, so wanted to break the chill in the morning and turned on my Suburban furnace (2015 Blue Ridge 3600RS). It would not light right away. It ran fine last year. I went outside and could hear the igniter and the flame light off but it would not sustain the flame. Turned it off and let sit for the rest of the day, cycled the switch over regulator (Fairchild) and reset the propane tanks just in case the excess flow valves were activated although the stove and the water heater work fine. I finally did get the furnace to start but after a while I could hear the igniter going off and the flame being relit. When I looked at my switchover regulator I noticed it was going red every time the furnace tried to light. I have it set for the roadside bottle at the moment and the furnace was OK this morning but the regulator is still going red when the furnace kicks in. I changed out the curb side pigtail in case I had a weak excess flow valve but that did not solve the issues. I have a tech coming to fix my black water valve on Wednesday, but wanted to ask this forum in case there is something I am missing.
