Furnace/Propane Problem

I turned the furnace on for the first time in my 2015 Spartan 1032 5th wheel toy hauler this weekend. The furnace comes on and runs fine but in about 5 minutes of running the alarm goes off indicating gas inside the RV. I am guessing that the gas line to the furnace was not installed properly and that is causing the alarm to go off. Has anyone out there experienced this before and if so, what was the cause of the problem?

If the gas was leaking anywhere from your tank to your furnace it would be out of propane.

It sounds like "maybe" your heat exchanger is leaking setting of your Co alarm.

Or any fitting between your regulator and burner.

It's also possible that your "flame" isn't adjusted correctly and expelling to many Co's

Glenn j what say you?

The flue to outside may not be installed correctly.

Or it may be burning off the oil that coats it during manufacture. Try running it for 15 or 20 minutes with the doors and windows open.
