I wanted a longer hose too but premade propane hoses are not long enough. Could have had one made but very pricy.
I bought a fifty foot air hose at hardware store for $20, the hose is day-glow-yellow so its easy to see and less likely to trip on. Plus with fifty feet I can run the hose out and around heavily traffic areas. My awning camper mount is right next to my campers propane connecter and I us it to neatly hold any excess hose.
I also picked up a 20 piece set of quick connects and changed all my connecters on all my outdoor propane stuff. I even built a tee so I can run more than one propane device at a time.
I have had this set up for 5 years now and have been very happy.
